A graduate of Manchester University’s Chemical Engineering degree, Dan joined the company in 2016 as a Junior Heat Network Engineer.

He has experience of working on the operation and optimisation of large-scale industrial processes operation through his work at ExxonMobil’s Fawley refinery, where he spent 12 months as part of his year in industry. This gave him a good technical and practical knowledge base for the range of process equipment seen within heat networks.

At FairHeat he works with the team to develop energy improvement projects for existing communal heating schemes and supports new build schemes by reviewing their design and performance.
