Freddie joined FairHeat from the University of Cambridge following his master’s degree in Chemical Engineering in 2016.
During his time at university he spent a summer in the Middle East with Petroleum Development Oman in the Production Chemistry department. This gave him a grounding in the oil and gas industry, as well as experience in improving the performance of facilities with design issues.
At FairHeat Freddie is involved in developing energy improvement projects for new and existing communal heating schemes. His role sees him analyse heat network performance and identify opportunities for improvement, review design and performance, and carry out commissioning testing on site.
He is a graduate member of CIBSE and is working towards chartered engineer status.
