Lucy joined FairHeat after graduating from The University of Sheffield with a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with a Year Abroad. During her degree, she spent a summer semester at SKKU in South Korea and her third year at the University of Pittsburgh, USA.  Studying courses including Climate Change: Science, Technology and Policy, and Sustainable Engineering, Lucy developed her interest in providing low carbon solutions to everyday problems, which ultimately lead her to FairHeat. As a Graduate Engineer, her role so far has involved working to improve new build heat networks from design stage through commissioning to operation.  Primarily, by conducting on-site installation inspections and acceptance testing, she identifies network issues and remedial measures to improve efficiencies and costs.
